Play Pause Restart

School is halfway through and have we even made a dent in the lives of others. I'd like to think so but, shouldn't we do better. This is a good time to pause and look at what we have done.

So far I have...
gotten a 2.88 at Texas A&M in my first semester.
visited on a few high schools in the Rio Grande Valley.
gone to Austin and got some Soderquist Training (which I believe has made me a better person)
slacked off in the Freshman Organization FLE. (I admit.)
sung in the choir a few times at church.
been dating an amazing guy.
gotten simply the aspiration to do more in everything in my life.

We all start out with such high dreams and goals and most of us turn out to be slackers. I admit.
I hate to be a slacker. And when I find out that I actually am, it hurts.
It stinks to find out that you could do so much better than you are right now. I could get better grades, do more things for FFA members, be a better girlfriend, be more active in FLE, and sing all the time at church.

But the greatest thing I've learned that you can do is a check up.
Check up on what your doing. Document what you have done and plan what you will do. This is my check up. And I promise to do better in all aspects of my life. You can always press the restart button and try again.
